The feathered hair strokes mimic the look of real brow hair. The brow shape is created to suit your individual face and needs (even if you have no natural brow hair) and we have over 40 pigment colours that we custom blend to suit your face and brow colouring.

WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN COMBINATION BROWS AND OMBRE?

Ombre brows are typically shaded with a gradient of lighter in the fronts, to fuller on the tails, without any hair strokes. This technique is suitable for you if you wanted as low maintenance as possible, and you love the look of your henna brows however you want to give up your monthly appointment in return for a semi-permanent option.

Combination brows incorporate Microblading (hair-strokes) and custom shading in the areas you need it, i.e if you have 90’s over-plucked eyebrows that never grew back, and there are sections of your brows without any natural hair, we would then softly layer in shading between your microblading to give a fuller effect and better blend.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

. On the day of your appointment, we will have a face to face consultation where we will map out every little detail with you, included shape, colours and style so you are comfortable throughout the entire process.

Once we have agreed on a shape and colour for your brows, we will then apply the Microblading hair strokes. this is the base of your brows and we blend the hair strokes to look as if you had eyebrow hair.

Once the microblading is complete, we then assess the sparse areas that need extra filling, the soft shading is done with a similar tool to the Microblading, we then take the shade of brown that suits you, and softly shade in between the hair strokes,

Although you might feel a slight ‘scratch’ on the skin, the discomfort of the treatment is very minimal.  Numbing cream is continually applied throughout the procedure for added comfort.

CAN I DECIDE ON THE DAY IF I WANT THIS TREATMENT?

Combination brows take extra time, so please notify us at the time of booking or as soon as possible to add this on.

CAN I UPGRADE MY MICROBLADING TO A COMBINATION BROW ON THE SECOND TOUCH UP/YEARLY TOUCH UP?

To upgrade your treatment is $50, please let us know in advance so we can book the extra time needed to avoid disappointment on the day.

WHAT’S INCLUDED?

Your consultation is included on the day, so we can spend time educating you with our expertise on what will suit you best.

The final result is achieved over two appointments at 5-6 week intervals. This allows us to start off very natural, then gradually build to your perfect brows.

AFTERCARE

For the 10 days post-treatment clients need to ensure they do not participate in any activities eg. Exercise that may cause your body temperature to rise. Blood can rise to the surface and cause you to sweat, resulting in the pigment being pushed out or become blurry.

Don’t wet the area, this includes hot steam as it could damage the bonding process.

Do not wear makeup over the brow area as the use of makeup on and around the area can cause infection. You can safely remove makeup from the rest of your face with a face towel or wipe.

Everything you need post-appointment will be given to you on the day. So your new eyebrows will heal beautifully, along with instructions on the short and long-term aftercare tips.
